antique-ish/ book room theme?
okay so my daughter changed her mind AGAIN. we just moved into a new house and she wants her room theme to be antique and books, she looves old things and looves to read. we r not painting her though, for she has the color she wants gray with book border around the top. i cant afford good antiques. She is getting a dark wood loft bed though, her room is very tiny I have a small budget i just want to see what people can come up with that will fit the theme remember antique-y book theme oh color scheme= red=gold=dark green=dark oakish colour thx love yall

come on you can do better then that!
You can get a bunch of books from a used book store and drill a hole in them to make a lamp. use an old lamp for the lamp wires, just rewire it to the books. I would also glue them together. You can use the same idea for a table using bigger books and a table round. Put a short tablecloth on it to hide round or paint it. Same idea for a desk using the books for legs and a board for the desk top. Go to the local Good Will for a chair. Bedding will make the biggest difference. Good luck!
