How do i start a buddha statue collection?
I want to know what reading materials i should begin with. What are the difference between statues, if it is possible to find cheap buys, keep them for awhile before re-selling them at a higher price. Do i need alot of money? Im more interested in ancients pieces, antiques with historical background.
you will need to make a business plan and a cash flow forecast..therefore if you need a loan from the bank for all of this you will be more likely to get it!
you also need some good market research for example knowing how big your market is..is there a demand for your buddha statues..how big is the demand
i admire your get up and go.you will need enough cash to start up..maybe go travelling and find out some information first hand also looking out for statues..you could keep your eyes open in charity shops[thrift stores] and online auctions..antique shops..anywhere really its just going to take a bit of luck and patience
if you cant go travelling.. why not go to the british museum or other museums to find out information about statues first hand especially historical background?
