whats this rare coin worth? an 1869-1877 ulysses s. Grant?
This isnt antiques roadshow but i need to know about a coin my grandma gave me. On the front it reads 18th president. usa 1869-1877 Ulysses s. Grant with his inraving. On the back it reads The American Caesar UNCODITIONAL SURRENDER 2nd Liet in mexican war rose rapidly from capt to Gen of union forces in civil war silent man of appomattox

Sounds like it could be from some type of series from a place like the Franklin Mint for example. If so, its value may be based on the content of the coin and the artistry of the coin itself. You didn’t mention its size. Is it made of silver?
