Can you recommend a reputable dealer of antique Tarot Cards in North America?
I am interested in researching, and perhaps purchasing an antique tarot deck.

Thanks Jenny, you are right Chapters sells lots of decks, but they are all new. I would really like to find a complete deck that is 100 years old or more.
You would be better trawling through the small antique shops in France.
The only place you are likely to find them is antique shops or bookshops.
Possible there may be collectors willing to sell a set, but they won’t be cheap.
If it is purely for research, you may find someone who will loan a set, or an antiquarian library.
The publishers of cards usually have an extensive history of them – so you could find a publisher and ask.
Why use the old cards? – if anything, cards should be your own – and not have any residual energy attatched. This is why owners don’t allow others to use them.
