Cleaning antique glassware?
Hello! I have several pieces of Fostoria glassware in the American design. I have two questions:
1. What is the best way to clean these dishes? Is it okay to use regular dish soap?
2. Two of my pieces (salt and pepper shaker) are very cloudy. How would I go about cleaning those so that they are crystal clear again?

Take your shakers and go thru the bottom with a false tooth cleaner, (efferdent) put it in a paper towel and break it up to fit the holes then fill with hot water and let sit–may have to do more than once, take a small bottle brush and scrub. Good luck.
