Where can I find old portrait photos in London, UK?
I am looking for old portraits (photographs) aged between 1880 – 1920, but they seem to be difficult to find apart from a few photo fairs. Can anyone point out junk shops, second hand markets or other places where to find a good selection of old photographs on sale, in London (UK) area? I would like to avoid touristic traps like Portobello Antique halls, as the photos tend to be overpriced and the selection is not too great either. Thanks!
Oh anywhere! look through the books in charity shops or at car boot sales, and check second hand book stores. People leave so many personal photo albums at places like that!
