why can’t I get any dates at my age ever, it’s b/c of my hobbies?
hi. here are some of my hobbies:
board games
listening to my iPod
reading novels
cooking/trying new recipes
learning how to knit
taking walks with my neighbor’s dog
watching Tarantino movies and other action movies, watching NFL football Sundays, and college football games.
collecting antiques and vintage movie posters
I don’t like clubs or bars really and don’t like dancing. I am 30 and can’t ever get dates. I only have 2 adult friends now, no kids. I am shy and nervous around male. None of them ever ask me out. why? what’s wrong with my hobbies and stuff? Sigh. I guess I am too old now to bother.
If you’re old, that makes me middle-aged. Please. Don’t put me in that category before I’ve even graduated college :’(
Honestly, you sound like a truly intriguing person…someone I think I would really like to have as a friend, and forgive the assumption, but it sounds like you’d make a great conversationalist (once you get to know someone, that is. Lol.) There is absolutely *nothing* wrong with your hobbies. I really hope I don’t get married until I’m at least 28 or 29….there’s too much life to live. While you’re single (trust me, you won’t be forever) I would just go out and enjoy doing the stuff you love! In the process, you’ll meet more people [making you less shy...I suspect that is the real cause why you are having trouble meeting gentlemen], and one of those people, might just be “the one.” =D Good luck!
