Why don’t more Canadians say “I LOVE London, Ontario’?
I really thought the city was impressive. I like the statues and the grassy parks.
I liked the Canadian flags on all the buildings
I liked the interesting restaurants and the outdoor stand with the Poutine
I liked the hidden bookstores where I bought a rare antique
I liked the people in the streets and the bus system
Why don’t more Canadians LOVE London, ONT and want to move there from all over Canada???
Well maybe we are busy saying “I Love Montreal or Ottawa or Vancouver or whatever the name of where we live is. It is a big country and lots of Canadians have not seen London. For some folks like me, we have seen so much of Canada that it is altogether easier to just say,”I LOVE CANADA!” than to start naming each spot. Not enough bumper space for me to put all the stickers I have collected.
But you are right about London. It is a fabulous place surrounded by other fabulous places.
Sadly Poutine is not a native London dish. I believe it is a Quebecois dish that London borrows.
I for one, love your enthusiasm for London and appreciate it.
Not sure exactly what you said that makes me believe you will be back but I am betting you will be. And we will be happy to have you come back.
