All about new orleans?
Im 18 and im going with my boyfriend and his fraternity to new orleans in april. Ive never been there so I wanna get an idea on what its like. We are staying in the french quarter. Is the shopping good? I preferably like clothing and wanna avoid most of the antique stuff. Any reccomendations on restaurants or boutiques? bars etc?

The shopping is really good, the best in Louisiana.
Most of the restaurants there are great, Emeril’s is HORRIBLE,the food is disgusting and we were sick all night. Wasabi is really good if you like sushi. Dickie Brennan’s steak house is also really good, and they have amazing customer service, the waiters wait on you hand and foot.
The Children’s Museum was SO cool, even if you’re not a child, it was great! One of the coolest places I have ever been. The Riverwalk is really cool too, they have good shopping, but the Louis Vuitton,Gucci,Saks,BCBG and all that is in this hotel,there is like the hotel connected to a mall with all those stores. I’m not sure the exact name of it, but it is very close to the Riverwalk, and I think the actual name of it might be One Canal Place, but not sure, just ask, locals will know what you mean. The New Orleans Zoo/Audubon and Aquarium are also really intresting, they have a white alligator in the aquariam, which is really cool.
