What do you think of Karl Kemp Antiques in New York sueing the homeless?…?
that are outside his business trying to get warm near the sidewalk grate?
Pape: I could not agree more with your comments regarding the state of this nation and gifts sent off to Africa (and wherever else). However, you asked me a question: “How would I like to walk through hoards of beggars to go to an antique store”? I lived in NY and passed the homeless constantly. I gave them plenty of donations. I felt compassion and empathy. Something sorely lacking in this world. That is a public sidewalk in front of Kemp’s store. Quite frankly I would rather walk through a crowd of beggars than even two of the likes of Karl Kemp or anyone else who has grown so thick skinned from the money rubbing on their palms that they no longer feel compassion. To say that many homeless WANT to be homeless is simply a copout.
i think if you have enough money to be out buying expensive antiques (or selling them for that matter), then you should be reminded regularly of those less fortunate…
are they really sueing the homeless? what are they expecting to win from them if all they have is the clothes on their back…
