Am I cursed?
About 11 hours ago I went to an antique store and found this incredible gold watch. It seemed such a bargain at I bought it.
The old man behind the counter warned me that the watch was cursed and the previous man who bought it went missing. The watch and a pair of leather shoes was found by a tombstone in a cemetary a few miles away.
I laughed it off and took it home.
On the way home I noticed something, the watch was set to 11:59 and was actually working anticlockwise.
I tried to change the time and that seemed to work but when I checked it a few seconds later it was back to 11:58 and still counting down.
I went back to the antique store but found it was closed.
By now I was spooked. I threw it into a bin and went home. When I got there I went to fish out my keys and found, to my horror, the watch!
I can’t bear to look at it but it must be nearly on 12:00.
I’d better finish now because there’s a knock at the door but someone please tell me what to do!!!
