I have some non-working antique cameras. Any good suggestions where to sell them? ?
I’m in the San Diego, CA area. I tried Craig’s List: no luck. I tried photography shops: no luck. I tried antique shops: no luck. I talked to someone about consignment: no luck. Does anyone have a real suggestion, please?
Pick up an issue of Shutterbug mag. They have a monthly list of camera shows all over the place. It seems to me there’s a show there in San Diego every now and then. You can set up a booth, or get someone to sell them for you at the show.
Ebay has a whole section on them. If you type Camera in the search engine, and leave it on all categories, It’ll come up with cameras in several different categories. One of them will be vintage cameras and lenses. Typically it’ll have 2 or 3 thousand hits in it.You can list your cameras in there.
