where are some good antique stores in west and north vancouver?
i love antique shopping whenever i go to visit my family in upstate new york but there are like no antique stores in vancouver. i’m looking for an everything antique store not stores with any specific category! please help! thanks so much!
There aren’t many. The only one I can think of in North Van is Echo’s on Lonsdale, I think there’s one in Lower Lonsdale, and there are a couple in Ambleside in West Van. Most of the antique dealers are in Vancouver, on Main St and in Gastown/East Hastings. Find a phone book or look in the Telus website for phone book listings. But you may find that antique shopping in Vancouver is nothing compared to what it is back east. BC hasn’t been settled very long in comparison, I mean there was hardly anyone here at all 100 years ago, so there’s no huge supply of old farmhouses and barns filled with old stuff like there is in the east.
