Does Anyone Have an Idea Where You Can Rent Antique Cars?
I am getting married and my finance really wants to have an antique car for our transportation after the ceremony. I can’t find anyone that rents this type of thing. Anyone have any ideas? Any other unique transportation ideas too? (I live in Ohio)
Put an ad out on craigslist. Many of the fanatics will be a limo driver for a few hours for pretty cheap. They probably won’t let you drive their “babies” so you’ll be in the backseat but its all good. Promise them a few minutes with the professional photographer and a copy of the pics and you are sure to get their attention.
Another way is to do what FI and I did and when the car show comes around go up there and chat with the owners. Check for fan clubs in the area online or call the autoparts store and they may be able to let you know when the next gathering is going to be. You can pick out the one you want and get quotes at the same time. They also drive them in the parades so that would be another chance to meet with them or we found our guy because he had the car listed for sale on craigslist. Our guy is going to drive us to reception for 60 bucks and we will take our own after that.
