They’re in town this week and I’m hard up for some Christmas money. I have some old coins, old tin and cast iron toys, antique pottery and dishes, real silver silverware, and other things like that.
Do you think I’d get a fair amount for my items, or do they have a history of ripping people off?
The consensus opinion, from several news accounts of these ‘here one day gone the next’ outfits, is that they generally screw you pretty good. You’re much better off selling to local antique shops, coin shops, or even try eBay, before selling to these guys.
