How much should I ask for old Saddle?
I recently recieved 4 old mexican saddles. They are in decent shape…could probably be used for riding, but would be best as an antique/decor item. I plan to sell them (possibly on ebay) and was wondering what I should ask for them? I was thinking $50 + but have seen saddle trees being sold for $100 and other old saddles being solde for more than that…I dont have a pic but what do you think? They would be PERFECT for someone decorating a western/cowboy style house…

there is no silver on the saddles…they are old…and pretty much just basic leather…but VERY spanish looking! thanks for the advice!
You will do better on Ebay if you start the bidding as low as possible. They will sell for what they are worth. Be sure to post a plenty of pictures from different angles. You should also describe the saddle very thoroughly describing the good and bad points. The more information you give, the more bids you will get. Don’t forget to add shipping charges. It costs around $40 to ship a saddle via UPS. I have bought a lot of tack on Ebay and bid more of listings with pictures and good descriptions.
