I have inherited a pristine Royal Crown Derby, Blue Pimpernel A1246 Coffee set in absolute perfect condition! Any idea how much this would be worth?

I like to research on eBay or other furniture sites like Go Antiques to see if I can find anything similar for sale when I have a piece I do not know its value. Taking a photo into a local antique shop can have varied results, but it might be worth a shot, they may be able to give you a country of origin or period that will narrow your search.
Certified appraisers (can be found in your local phone book) are by far your best bet for finding the value of an item.
