146 year old Bible………..?
I have this bible that is 146 years old. and its in fair condition. Published by Harper & Brothers 1846 on cliff street New York. Is this a valuable antique?

It depends on the age and actual condition, and the number of Bibles published by that company, and the estimated number still existing — lots of variables.
The best bet would be to take it to an expert in antique books and get an estimate. That’s a pretty cool antique, though — books don’t often survive very well.

That publishing company, albeit under new ownership, is still in existence. They might be very interested in purchasing that Bible themselves, either for their archives or for a historical display.
But if the Bible has any of your family tree information in it (deaths/marriages) you should keep it.
