What is the Value of this Antique Saxophone?
I have a 1914 Frank Holton silver c-melody saxophone in excellent condition. At last verbal appraisal it valued at $5000. Are there any antique pros out there who are familiar with musical instruments who can give me an approximate value AND tell me the best route to sell it (NOT ON EBAY)
Unfortunately I believe your verbal appraisal was way too high. C-Melody saxophones are not worth a whole lot as they are not currently in use, and $5000 hits towards the high end of even the hottest horns that players will pay for horns they will actually use.
