what are some fun things to do while visiting asheville nc? (and around that area)?
We will be staying near the cherokee indian reservation for part of the trip and near asheville for the other part. any historic districts with like cute hops and antique stores, cafes, stuff like that around either area? any state parks with short hikes up to waterfalls? we dont want to have to go far from either place while we are there, the fartheset will be when we go from the reservation to asheville. any ideas? thanks!
There’s Chimney Rock, which isn’t a far hike, and it offers an amazing view. Also, there’s Sliding Rock, which is a natural water park area. I couldn’t give you exact directions, but they’re both within an hour drive from asheville. Also, there’s the typical shopping and tourist attractions available in your average southern town. I hope you have a good trip!
