What to wear for new job at antique store?
My best friends mom owns a antique store, and she recently gave me a job there. Tomorrow is my second day, the first day I dressed a little dressy, and I felt uncomfortable. I basically run the cash register and put out new items, so I’m running around the entire time.
Any ideas on what to wear? Its supposed to be rather nice outside, so don’t worry too much about the weather.

well you first must consider your customers. since its an antique shop that means its most likely going to be middle aged to older women. that in essence means nothing skimpy or too skin barring that will offend. you want something that reflects what your selling. if your selling antiques, then you would probably want to opt for something tasteful but not overdone. im sure your manager would let you get by with nice jeans and somewhat dressy top. accessories would be key though, since many antique shops carry lots of vintage jewelry. khakis, sweaters, skirts at the knee, and upper-casual blouses would all be appropriate attire i think.
